Beijing International Christian Fellowship

After the spending the morning at Tian An Men Square and the Forbidden City we went to Church at the Beijing International Christian Fellowship (www.bicf.org), which is a church very much like HCBC back home  The one exception is that you have a passport to go there.  They are not allowed to preach to Chinese citizens.  We were blessed to hear a sermon from Matt Heard, the Senior Pastor of Woodmen Valley Chapel (www.woodmenvalley.org).  It was an excellent sermon on the lost son (Luke 15:11-32).  He compared the characters to buckets and pipes.  Pipes allow blessings to flow through them while buckets try and hold onto everything.  What's in a bucket stays in a bucket ... until it stagnates and stinks.
